Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robert Hilbrands started the match with the kick off. Bill Joppets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Heerjansdam SV's zone, Corné Valk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnold Hofs came out of the goal and Corné Valk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Bill Joppets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heerjansdam SV's Arnold Hofs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pierre Lucius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jurre Stuijvenberg went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Corné Valk came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Schaapsbrug fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corné Valk couldn't finish the play. Bill Joppets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Robert Hilbrands managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heerjansdam SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Hilbrands was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pierre Lucius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurre Stuijvenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Bill Joppets struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Arnold Hofs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schaapsbrug. Schaapsbrug's Michel Meulman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arnold Hofs but with some difficulty. 38 minutes into the match, Schaapsbrug's Bill Joppets sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnold Hofs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Taco Bronkhorst kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Bill Joppets hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Pierre Lucius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurre Stuijvenberg in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Jurre Stuijvenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bill Joppets to make the kick off. When Robert Hilbrands in the 54th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Pierre Lucius kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After 61 minutes, Jurre Stuijvenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heerjansdam SV and the Schaapsbrug players grew even worse after the yellow card. Corné Valk struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Arnold Hofs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schaapsbrug. When Marc Nijemanting came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Schaapsbrug fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Nijemanting couldn't finish the play. Bill Joppets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnold Hofs having to interfere. Robert Hilbrands showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Bill Joppets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes Heerjansdam SV got a freekick which was hit by Robin Cuperus. Arnold Hofs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corné Valk, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Jurre Stuijvenberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierre Lucius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jurre Stuijvenberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The Schaapsbrug supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Heerjansdam SV's performance. The match ended with a win for Heerjansdam SV.
