Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Schapenkoppen's Johannes Zenden started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan Deiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Deiman in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Atsma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Steve Stevens charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Stevens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Steve Stevens hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes, Tom Groten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Schapenkoppen and the Rijnstrijders Arnhem players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Schapenkoppen getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tom Groten hit a great ball. Jan Deiman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mark Atsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allard Steelman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yorrick Zenden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Zenden in the 35th minute of the match. Bernard Oosterman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yorrick Zenden having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Frits Saelman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rijnstrijders Arnhem's Ed Soer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Schapenkoppen. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Allard Steelman made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Remond Pepping was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rijnstrijders Arnhem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Schapenkoppen the free kick. A collision led to Rijnstrijders Arnhem getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Remond Pepping hit a great ball. The FC Schapenkoppen fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when FC Schapenkoppen's Johannes Zenden looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 64th minute, Johannes Zenden made a precise shot to the right of Yorrick Zenden. Rijnstrijders Arnhem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a little luck, FC Schapenkoppen's Mark Atsma got control of the ball when Jan Deiman tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Allard Steelman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allard Steelman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Atsma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Jan Deiman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Mark Atsma made a huge save. Yorrick Zenden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Oosterman, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Bernard Oosterman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Yorrick Zenden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Schapenkoppen booed when Rijnstrijders Arnhem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter Veldman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Schapenkoppen had won after a very even match.
