Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wim Roorda made the kick off which started today's match. Niels Jeronimus hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Marcel Oss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Roorda in the 8th minute of play forced Hulsel's goalkeeper Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Hulsel's Marcel Oss made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bart Ieberts was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eelco Hofkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Hulsel's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Roorda came free, but Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Geert van der Tol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Geert van der Tol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rinus Ridder charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rinus Ridder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rinus Ridder kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Marcel Oss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Roorda, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 32 played minutes Add Deen Haag got a freekick which was hit by Niels Jeronimus. After a defensive mix-up in Add Deen Haag's zone, Marcel Oss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bart Ieberts came out of the goal and Marcel Oss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Roorda in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Wim Roorda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Add Deen Haag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Roorda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

2-1 became the score in the 55th minute when Eelco Hofkamp elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hulsel's Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Roorda in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Add Deen Haag's goal looked a bit too open when Geert van der Tol came free, but Bart Ieberts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Oss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Add Deen Haag's goal looked a bit too open when Geert van der Tol came free, but Bart Ieberts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hulsel booed when Add Deen Haag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niels Jeronimus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Add Deen Haag's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reinier Bot was slow to take the kick. During this time Hulsel's players had a chance to rest. After 75 played minutes Hulsel got a freekick which was hit by Tonnie Klasens. Gerjan Hoekstra struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Add Deen Haag. 83 minutes into the match, Add Deen Haag's Wim Roorda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute of the match, Geert van der Tol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bart Ieberts saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Geert van der Tol came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Hulsel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geert van der Tol couldn't finish the play. Bart Ieberts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert van der Tol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Add Deen Haag's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
