Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jelle van der Stoel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jelle van der Stoel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herman Boezeman during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kalfsdonk FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Herman Boezeman hit a great ball. Marcel Oss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Hulsel's Geert van der Tol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovanni de Boer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jelle van der Stoel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ed Steffens struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalfsdonk FC. Hulsel's Geert van der Tol got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcel Oss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalfsdonk FC's Giovanni de Boer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert van der Tol in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jelle van der Stoel was the one to do the kick off. When Reinier Bot fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hulsel's protests and gave Reinier Bot a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Reinier Bot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Steffens in the 57th minute of play forced Hulsel's goalkeeper Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalfsdonk FC's Stijn Broerse couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hulsel. Jurgen Stekelenburg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Geert van der Tol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kalfsdonk FC's Giovanni de Boer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Marcel Oss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Giovanni de Boer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hulsel's Marcel Oss got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hulsel's Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ed Steffens in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Jelle van der Stoel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hulsel's Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geert van der Tol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovanni de Boer having to make a save. Giovanni de Boer made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Geert van der Tol sent off a good shot on target. The Kalfsdonk FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hulsel's performance. The match ended with a win for Hulsel.
