Boudewijn Castelen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boudewijn Waidijk having to make a save. Harry Krommert kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Tonnie van der Werff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, one of Oosterboer V.V.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Assad FC's Boudewijn Waidijk got control of the ball when Roland Schipper tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Assad FC's goalkeeper Boudewijn Waidijk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hendrik-Jan van Dam kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Assad FC's goalkeeper Boudewijn Waidijk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Schipper. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Floris Planting managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Floris Planting was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Floris Planting made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Tonnie van der Werff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Assad FC and the Oosterboer V.V. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Assad FC's Tonnie van der Werff got a free kick in the 51st minute. Boudewijn Castelen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pepijn Willemse made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tonnie van der Werff sent off a good shot on target. Floris Planting blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pepijn Willemse having to make a save. Oosterboer V.V.'s Pepijn Willemse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Oosterboer V.V. from getting a goal against them. Pepijn Willemse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Floris Planting's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Job Batum hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Floris Planting managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Floris Planting was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pepijn Willemse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tonnie van der Werff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepijn Willemse having to interfere. If Boudewijn Castelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Oosterboer V.V. booed when Assad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jelle Veldkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Roland Schipper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oosterboer V.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Schipper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pepijn Willemse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tonnie van der Werff in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Oosterboer V.V.'s Roland Schipper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boudewijn Waidijk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 85 minutes, Frederik Schulte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Assad FC and the Oosterboer V.V. players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Schipper in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boudewijn Waidijk saved Assad FC from getting behind. If Floris Planting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boudewijn Waidijk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Schipper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Oosterboer V.V.'s Roland Schipper in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Assad FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Assad FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Assad FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
