After a defensive mix-up in Heiligland's zone, Emil Drent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nigel Korf came out of the goal and Emil Drent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Nigel Korf successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 9th minute, Emil Drent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Harry Bruinsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mart Hulzebos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 15 minutes on the clock, Marco Heije commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of LKS Milanów:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Heiligland:s goal. 22 minutes into the game, Heiligland's Harry Bruinsma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mart Hulzebos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Mart Hulzebos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Bruinsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes LKS Milanów got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Donderwinkel. A collision led to Heiligland getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Karel Broers hit a great ball. Emil Drent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Drent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel Korf having to interfere. Arne Wessels struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Nigel Korf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LKS Milanów. When Emil Drent came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the LKS Milanów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Drent couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emil Drent to strike the kick off in the second half. Mart Hulzebos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Thijsse in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, LKS Milanów's goalkeeper Mart Hulzebos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeroen Palsma. LKS Milanów's Emil Drent got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, LKS Milanów's Emil Drent nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 82nd minute, Emil Drent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The LKS Milanów fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when LKS Milanów's Emil Drent looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd minute, Emil Drent made a precise shot to the right of Nigel Korf. Heiligland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. LKS Milanów's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
