A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Balgoij S.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dave Houwing came free, but Michael Ieberts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dave Houwings short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Michael Ieberts to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Dave Houwing managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lievelde's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Houwing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Ieberts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Ieberts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Houwing, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Balgoij S.V.'s Tonny van Zaanen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tonny van Zaanen made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jasper Kramer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balgoij S.V.'s Tonny van Zaanen got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Lievelde's goalkeeper Henk Tuhuteru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tonny van Zaanen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tonny van Zaanen got free with Henk Tuhuteru in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
