After some careless play in the Laareind SC defense, Martien Egberts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remond Hartlief. The Laareind SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remond Hartlief should have stopped the shot. If Jonathan Heida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remond Hartlief made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martien Egberts in the 10th minute of play. Arnold Germs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Erben Fleur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joop Staarman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Remond Hartlief took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Heida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martien Egberts in the 23rd minute of play forced Laareind SC's goalkeeper Remond Hartlief to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Visdonk's Erben Fleur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Visdonk from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Martien Egberts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Visdonk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Visdonk's zone, Chiel van Wonderen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erben Fleur came out of the goal and Chiel van Wonderen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ton Wagemakers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remond Hartlief having to make a save. After having played for 33 minutes, Ton Wagemakers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Visdonk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ton Wagemakers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Laareind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Heida came free, but Remond Hartlief reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Heida in the 39th minute of play forced Laareind SC's goalkeeper Remond Hartlief to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Arnold Germs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Martien Egberts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

51 minutes into the game, Jonathan Heida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Visdonk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laareind SC the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Visdonk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Heida to maneuver through the defense. If Roland Aukes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laareind SC's Remond Hartlief played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joop Staarman in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Jonathan Heida reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remond Hartlief. The goal made the score 0-4. Roland Aukes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laareind SC's Remond Hartlief played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joop Staarman in the 69th minute of play. Martien Egberts succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. Roland Aukes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Visdonk's Ton Wagemakers got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ton Wagemakers struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Remond Hartlief didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Visdonk. Remond Hartlief showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Heida in the 81st minute of the match. Laareind SC's Remond Hartlief proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Laareind SC from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Marc Soer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Visdonk's Erben Fleur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Germs in the 86th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Visdonk walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
