Gregor Siemers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiel Heersprink in the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Lensheuvel S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruud Rogaars to maneuver through the defense. Nut FC's Folkert Hanekamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tjeerd Erenstein in the 9th minute of play. Pascal Adelaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Folkert Hanekamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lensheuvel S.C.'s Tjeerd Erenstein in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nut FC's goalie prevented a goal. Pascal Adelaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Chiel Heersprink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Siemers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Chiel Heersprink made a precise shot to the right of Gregor Siemers. Lensheuvel S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Lensheuvel S.C. booed when Nut FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Twan Boeringe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lensheuvel S.C.'s Henk Abbenbroek broke free in the 26th minute of the match and struck a powerful long shot that almost became a goal, but instead the ball went outside the right post. An obvious chance of a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Nut FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tjeerd Erenstein came free, but Folkert Hanekamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lensheuvel S.C. booed when Nut FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald de Vlieger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tjeerd Erenstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Chiel Heersprink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Tonnie Peppinck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lensheuvel S.C.'s Gregor Siemers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tonnie Peppinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Chiel Heersprink made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfred Meyer in the 53rd minute of play forced Lensheuvel S.C.'s goalkeeper Gregor Siemers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tonnie Peppinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascal Adelaar struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Folkert Hanekamp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lensheuvel S.C.. When Frans Themmen fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nut FC's protests and gave Frans Themmen a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nut FC's zone, Pascal Adelaar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folkert Hanekamp came out of the goal and Pascal Adelaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nut FC's Folkert Hanekamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tjeerd Erenstein in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascal Adelaar in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folkert Hanekamp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tonnie Peppinck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Lensheuvel S.C.'s Tjeerd Erenstein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Folkert Hanekamp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 72 played minutes Nut FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronald de Vlieger. When Tjeerd Erenstein fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lensheuvel S.C.'s protests and gave Tjeerd Erenstein a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Lensheuvel S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tjeerd Erenstein to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Pascal Adelaar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chiel Heersprink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Siemers having to interfere.
