Spectators: 26 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the match, Oord's Jurjen Ter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sjoerd Ieberts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ritsumazijl booed when Oord was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter Houtman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Mols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sjoerd Ieberts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucien Paas's late challenge caught a Ritsumazijl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucien Paas helped the player get up and apologised. Lucien Paas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Aad Oosterman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mathijs Ostermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Wim Kort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathijs Ostermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Wim Kort made the kick off in the second half. After 65 played minutes, Oord's Bram Jorna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sjoerd Ieberts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oord reached it. Hugo Hooiveld kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Sjoerd Ieberts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurjen Ter in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jurjen Ter in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sjoerd Ieberts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute, Maarten Deijkers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ritsumazijl getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Coenraad Eulen hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, one of Ritsumazijl:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ritsumazijl. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Oord. Harald Idema stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sjoerd Ieberts. 2-0. In the 97th minute, Pieter Houtman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aad Oostermans short, quick shot in the 99thth minute got Mathijs Ostermann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee ended the match the Oord players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
