Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pascal Booy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Paul de Boer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ger Roelfs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Emil Oosterman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varssel Eendracht's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Oosterman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilco van Zonderen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Oostkapelle RKSV's Wilco van Zonderen got control of the ball when Emil Oosterman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Dirk Jan Ijksma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ger Roelfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Oostkapelle RKSV's Dirk Jan Ijksma in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Varssel Eendracht's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the game, Paul de Boer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ger Roelfs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joop Woering fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ger Roelfs having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Oscar Drok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Varssel Eendracht getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bruno Reitsma hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dirk Jan Ijksma in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ger Roelfs saved Varssel Eendracht from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Jan Ijksma in the 31st minute of play forced Varssel Eendracht's goalkeeper Ger Roelfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oostkapelle RKSV's Joop Woering pulled a muscle in his leg after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bruno Reitsma's late challenge caught a Oostkapelle RKSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Reitsma helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Varssel Eendracht's Bruno Reitsma got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Dirk Jan Ijksma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Oostkapelle RKSV's Paul de Boer got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Pascal Booy came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Varssel Eendracht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascal Booy couldn't finish the play. Wilco van Zonderen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Booy, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dirk Jan Ijksma made a kick off. Emil Oosterman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilco van Zonderen having to interfere. Wilco van Zonderen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Booy in the 64th minute of the match. If Pascal Booy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Pascal Booy made a precise shot to the right of Wilco van Zonderen. Oostkapelle RKSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Dirk Jan Ijksmas short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Ger Roelfs to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emil Oosterman struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Wilco van Zonderen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varssel Eendracht. Pascal Booy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ger Roelfs came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Oostkapelle RKSV's Dirk Jan Ijksma. But to his dismay, Dirk Jan Ijksma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 93rd minute, Paul de Boer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Richard Oevermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Oostkapelle RKSV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
