In the 3rd minute, Kees Buys made a precise shot to the right of Christijan Zeeman. Notenboom S.V.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Christijan Zeeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregor Grijp, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Gagel HC's Ernst Weken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christijan Zeeman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Notenboom S.V. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! When Maarten de Boer fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Notenboom S.V.'s protests and gave Maarten de Boer a yellow card for diving instead. Maarten de Boer kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Gregor Grijp made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Notenboom S.V.'s Christijan Zeeman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Christijan Zeeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kees Buys, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Kristof Boersma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger de Haan having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Notenboom S.V.'s goalkeeper Christijan Zeeman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daan Borst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daan Borst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christijan Zeeman made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gregor Grijp sent off a good shot on target. If Gregor Grijp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daan Borst struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Christijan Zeeman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gagel HC. After having played for 67 minutes, Gregor Grijp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gagel HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregor Grijp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Daan Borst came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Gagel HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daan Borst couldn't finish the play. Daan Borst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christijan Zeeman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daan Borst in the 81st minute of the match. Daan Borst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Christijan Zeeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gagel HC's Gregor Grijp got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christijan Zeeman came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Gagel HC's Gregor Grijp. But to his dismay, Gregor Grijp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. If Daan Borst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gagel HC played a much better game than Notenboom S.V. and deserved their victory. The Notenboom S.V. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
