In the 12th minute, Rembrandt Nassau's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pieter Tinge fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 40 played minutes Rembrandt Nassau got a freekick which was hit by Julius de Haan. Folkert Arnolds's late challenge caught a Breezand's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Folkert Arnolds helped the player get up and apologised. Folkert Arnolds kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Pieter Tinge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Breezand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pieter Tinge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Rembrandt Nassau getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Folkert Arnolds hit a great ball. Pieter Tinge in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Theo Alberda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hans-Cees Wekenburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans-Cees Wekenburg was the one to do the kick off. Pieter Tinge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theo Alberda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Cees Wekenburg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Bas Kooij kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Folkert Arnolds kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Breezand's Harris Bogaard tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Hans-Cees Wekenburg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Breezand's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans-Cees Wekenburg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Alberda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Theo Alberda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter Tinge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theo Alberda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter Tinge in the 92nd minute of the match.
