Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jurjen Erenstein hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Dirk Borst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Dekker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gert Jan Weerd in the 5th minute. If Emile Hoekstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gert Jan Weerd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Arnout Dekker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roggel SV's Arnout Dekker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Borst in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Moerkapelle's Jouke Seedorf got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jurjen Erenstein was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dirk Borst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arnout Dekker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Moerkapelle's Joep Roeters got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Gert Jan Weerd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emile Hoekstra to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emile Hoekstra in the 52nd minute of play forced Moerkapelle's goalkeeper Bram Roodenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Emile Hoekstra came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Roggel SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emile Hoekstra couldn't finish the play. Roggel SV's Kenneth Beuneker got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dave Blanc fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moerkapelle's protests and gave Dave Blanc a yellow card for diving instead. Dave Blanc hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Jurjen Erenstein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roggel SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moerkapelle the free kick. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Roggel SV! In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Moerkapelle. Marcel Baatenburg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arnout Dekker. 1-0. Emile Hoekstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roggel SV's Kenneth Beuneker got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emile Hoekstra in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bram Roodenburg saved Moerkapelle from getting behind. Emile Hoekstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bram Roodenburg having to interfere. Roggel SV's Arnout Dekker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Jan Weerd in the 84th minute of play. Bram Roodenburg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth Beuneker in the 86th minute. Bram Roodenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emile Hoekstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emile Hoekstra in the 98th minute of play forced Moerkapelle's goalkeeper Bram Roodenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roggel SV's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Moerkapelle had won, even though Roggel SV had held more of the ball.
