Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Max Otten got the match started through his kick off. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 5 minutes into the match, Pieter Elshot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rik Spanjer. World Football Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pieter Elshot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of World Football Academy booed when FC Gauchos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jelle Sybering didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mickael Zegeling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harm Houwing's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Mirko Nijemanting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickael Zegeling having to interfere. Jef de Jong kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jef de Jong hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. World Football Academy's Harm Houwing managed to work through FC Gauchos's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Harm Houwing dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in FC Gauchos's zone, Mirko Nijemanting stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mickael Zegeling came out of the goal and Mirko Nijemanting tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Max Otten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harm Houwing in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickael Zegeling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mickael Zegeling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm Houwing in the 43rd minute of play. A hard shot by Jef de Jong from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Rik Spanjer's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harm Houwing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Harm Houwing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mickael Zegeling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. World Football Academy's Harm Houwing came free and shot a quick shot against goal 58 minutes in the game, fortunately Mickael Zegeling had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With 60 minutes on the clock, Auke Clarijs commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of FC Gauchos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of World Football Academy:s goal. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for World Football Academy. Gert Koeling stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mickael Zegeling. 2-1. FC Gauchos's Mickael Zegeling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save FC Gauchos from getting a goal against them. Pieter Elshot might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rik Spanjer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pieter Elshot ran back to his position shaking his head. Pieter Elshot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik Spanjer having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mirko Nijemanting during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. World Football Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harm Houwing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gauchos's goalkeeper Mickael Zegeling, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
