Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sjoerd Hoogland got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Sjoerd Hoogland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjeerd Panter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, AFC Ajax's Sjoerd Hoogland ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tjeerd Panter. Tjeerd Panter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 10 played minutes Halen got a freekick which was hit by Ton van Herwijnen. Corné Lammens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sjoerd Hoogland in the 19th minute of play forced Halen's goalkeeper Tjeerd Panter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeffrey Kolman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corné Lammens in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Jochem de Zee came free, but Jeffrey Kolman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Corné Lammens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corné Lammens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AFC Ajax's Sjoerd Hoogland got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute Sjoerd Hoogland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjeerd Panter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ton van Herwijnen struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jeffrey Kolman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halen. Jochem de Zee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffrey Kolman having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corné Lammens in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeffrey Kolman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Corné Lammens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Jochem de Zee notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AFC Ajax's Jeffrey Kolman. Jeffrey Kolman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jochem de Zee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sjoerd Hoogland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tjeerd Panter having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, AFC Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wouter Pluym to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes AFC Ajax got a freekick which was hit by Hette Soer. Halen's Corné Lammens got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Sjoerd Hoogland managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Ajax's supporters rose to their feet, but Sjoerd Hoogland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tjeerd Panter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Halen's Jochem de Zee fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Jeffrey Kolman was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Corné Lammens capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Corné Lammens really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. If Jochem de Zee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The AFC Ajax fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Halen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
