Klidze FC's Alfred Spoel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Klidze FC from getting a goal against them. Berk SC's Bill Kikkert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolf Oldenbeuving in the 12th minute of play. Godfried Brinke scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfred Spoel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Douwe Bartels hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Alfred Spoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willem Oldenborger in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berk SC's goalkeeper Bill Kikkert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Berk SC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Remco Wesseling hit a great ball. Bill Kikkert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coos Zalm in the 24th minute of the match. Coos Zalm struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Bill Kikkert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klidze FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Coos Zalm in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bill Kikkert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mitchell Bette kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Bill Kikkert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coos Zalm in the 38th minute of the match. Dolf Oldenbeuving sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godfried Brinke was the one to do the kick off. Roland Oevermans might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bill Kikkert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barry Damen charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Coos Zalm took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Bill Kikkert to make any attempt to save it. If Godfried Brinke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bill Kikkert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coos Zalm, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Bill Kikkert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dolf Oldenbeuving went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Berk SC's Felix Spanjer got a free kick in the 91st minute. Coos Zalm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Klidze FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfried Brinke came free, but Alfred Spoel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klidze FC's Alfred Spoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorn Opdam in the 99th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Klidze FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
