An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Baptist in the 4th minute of play forced Berk SC's goalkeeper Bill Kikkert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Berk SC's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Baptist came free, but Bill Kikkert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Arjen Waard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Stal Sanok booed when Berk SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barry Damen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfried Brinke struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Steven Kauffeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berk SC. Willem Oldenborger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Steven Kauffeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stal Sanok's Arjen Waard got a free kick in the 30th minute. Rudi Meijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Berk SC's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Baptist came free, but Bill Kikkert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berk SC's Bill Kikkert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Berk SC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Stal Sanok's Michel Baptist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bill Kikkert. That made the score 1-0 after 41 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arjen Waard during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michel Baptist made a kick off. Bill Kikkert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Baptist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Berk SC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Willem Oldenborger hit a great ball. Stal Sanok's Steven Kauffeld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Stal Sanok from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Godfried Brinke got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Rudi Meijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Baptist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Kikkert having to interfere. Godfried Brinke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Steven Kauffeld made a huge save. Rudi Meijs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bill Kikkert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stal Sanok fans cheered their team off the field, for while Berk SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
