Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emile Moorman got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute Emile Moorman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Kloppenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Emile Moorman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zuiderend's Fokke Kloppenburg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes, Peter Mathijsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zuiderend and the Morige V.V. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peter Mathijsen hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Zuiderend's goalkeeper Fokke Kloppenburg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Even. Eric Even received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fokke Kloppenburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Eric Even made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Zuiderend's Fokke Kloppenburg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ferdi de Ruijter fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuiderend's protests and gave Ferdi de Ruijter a yellow card for diving instead. Ferdi de Ruijter hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Eric Even notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Zuiderend's Fokke Kloppenburg. Fokke Kloppenburg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eric Even sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Emile Moorman made a precise shot to the right of Fokke Kloppenburg. Zuiderend's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Eric Even had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Warneke to strike the kick off in the second half. If Eric Even had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jurjen Haas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zuiderend's Fokke Kloppenburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Even in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Zuiderend defense, Eric Even kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fokke Kloppenburg. The Zuiderend fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fokke Kloppenburg should have stopped the shot. Eric Even took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fokke Kloppenburg. Fokke Kloppenburg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Marco Warneke struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Martin Hauvers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuiderend. Peter Mathijsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martin Hauvers came out and tried to block the shot, but Peter Mathijsen slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi de Ruijter in the 94th minute of play forced Morige V.V.'s goalkeeper Martin Hauvers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eric Even had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morige V.V. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zuiderend for a fine match.
