Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ernest Wilbrink took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ferry Bult made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Luikens in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Schei HC's goalkeeper Christiaan Koekkoek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernest Wilbrink. With his leg Christiaan Koekkoek managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Ees FC's Ernest Wilbrink fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ferry Bult showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Luikens, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Ernest Wilbrink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ees FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Wilbrink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernest Wilbrink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robert-Jan Mans hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Albert Schuiling kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Ees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rik Terpstra to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes Schei HC got a freekick which was hit by Aad Ridder. After 34 minutes, Rob Famelen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schei HC and the Ees FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Rob Famelen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Luikens in the 37th minute of play forced Ees FC's goalkeeper Ferry Bult to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, Ees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo van Zwam to maneuver through the defense. Ferry Bult showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Luikens, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Albert Schuiling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christiaan Koekkoek acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Robert-Jan Mans. Christiaan Koekkoek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Schuiling in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Assendelft to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 55 in the game by Gerard Luikens from a close distance when the talented Ferry Bult managed to make a qualified save. Ees FC's players were relieved. Albert Schuiling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rob Famelen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ferry Bult made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernest Wilbrink in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christiaan Koekkoek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Jan Assendelft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Bult saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferry Bult took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Assendelft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederik Duinhoven hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Ernest Wilbrink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schei HC's Christiaan Koekkoek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernest Wilbrink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiaan Koekkoek having to interfere. Ferry Bult made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Gerard Luikens sent off a good shot on target. Ferry Bult took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Assendelft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Albert Schuiling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ees FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gerard Luikens kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernest Wilbrink in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christiaan Koekkoek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Schei HC's Christiaan Koekkoek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Schuiling in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Ben Hofs threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ees FC's Hugo van Zwam quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ronny Kuipers hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ees FC had won after a very even match.
