Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rudolf Bos kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Mathijs van Dijk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geert van Baarle having to interfere. In the 12th minute Mathijs van Dijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geert van Baarle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jos van Someren in the 13th minute of play forced Sassenheim FC's goalkeeper Bertus Zoetmulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathijs van Dijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathijs van Dijk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sassenheim FC's zone, Rudolf Bos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertus Zoetmulder came out of the goal and Rudolf Bos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Jorn Wolf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Ab Bodde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertus Zoetmulder. Sassenheim FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ab Bodde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rudolf Bos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertus Zoetmulder having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Geert van Baarle stood somewhat misplaced when Mathijs van Dijk came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 52 minute. A collision led to FC Miauw getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ab Bodde hit a great ball. When Jos van Someren came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FC Miauw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jos van Someren couldn't finish the play. After 62 minutes, Jos van Someren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Miauw and the Sassenheim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jos van Someren hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Mathijs van Dijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Miauw's goalkeeper Geert van Baarle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mathijs van Dijk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Geert van Baarle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Rudolf Bos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven Harding kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Bertus Zoetmulder came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Miauw's Jos van Someren. But to his dismay, Jos van Someren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Rudolf Bos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
