Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Boyle FC's Sander Stroeve started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rahim Levent in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dirk Overmars saved Boyle FC from getting behind. If Rahim Levent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute of the match Michael Butter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alwin Hartogh skillfully saved the ball. If Sander Stroeve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sander Stroeve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alwin Hartogh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Rahim Levent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boyle FC's Dirk Overmars was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rahim Levent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boyle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Collins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alwin Hartogh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rahim Levent stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fryslan's Harm Ierlandt got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute Rahim Levent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Overmars saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rahim Levent came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Fryslan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rahim Levent couldn't finish the play. Sander Stroeve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 董乐弘 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rahim Levent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Overmars having to interfere. The supporters of Fryslan booed when Boyle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Zadelhoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rahim Levent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Overmars having to interfere. Fryslan's 董乐弘 got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Pete Cordingley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fryslan were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
