Huub van der Tol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koen Wensing having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huub van der Tol in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Koen Wensing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iwan Rijkaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arno Haar made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Iwan Hulsebos sent off a good shot on target. Arno Haar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rik Masker in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Iwan Hulsebos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kavelingen's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwan Hulsebos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arno Haar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huub van der Tol took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Koen Wensing. Koen Wensing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, bk boys's Arno Haar got control of the ball when Iwan Hulsebos tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Koen Wensing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huub van der Tol in the 56th minute. Iwan Rijkaard struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Arno Haar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kavelingen. When Iwan Hulsebos came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Kavelingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwan Hulsebos couldn't finish the play. After 61 played minutes Kavelingen got a freekick which was hit by Arjen Korf. After a rather tough play, Kavelingen's Arjen Korf got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, bk boys's Fred de Bruin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Iwan Hulsebos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes, Huib Collen made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kavelingen's Koen Wensing tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute Iwan Rijkaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arno Haar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koen Wensing made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Huub van der Tol sent off a good shot on target. Kavelingen's Koen Wensing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huib Collen in the 78th minute of play. bk boys's Huib Collen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwan Hulsebos in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arno Haar saved bk boys from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. bk boys walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
