Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Beerserveen's Coenraad Adams started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henry Klasen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Henk Boezeman put in a rough tackle. 10 minutes into the game, one of Leuven:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Leuven's Jim van Zeggeren got control of the ball when Henry Klasen tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Coenraad Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gido Boerma charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gido Boerma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gido Boerma hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jan Rein Hoogland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gido Boerma, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jan Rein Hoogland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sjors Zadelhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harm Hulscher during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, Harm Hulscher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Henry Klasen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Beerserveen's Henry Klasen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jim van Zeggeren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Henry Klasen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim van Zeggeren having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leuven's Peter Ritsma got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Coenraad Adams managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beerserveen's supporters rose to their feet, but Coenraad Adams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim van Zeggeren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coenraad Adams in the 65th minute of play forced Leuven's goalkeeper Jim van Zeggeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Klasen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harm Hulscher hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Beerserveen's goalkeeper Jan Rein Hoogland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sjors Zadelhoff. Jim van Zeggeren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Heesen in the 86th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Beerserveen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
