If Wim Kooij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes sv OBW got a freekick which was hit by Joop van Zwam. After 16 minutes, Barry van Boxel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Genum and the sv OBW players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Genum's Barry van Boxel got a free kick in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Genum's goal looked a bit too open when Joop van Zwam came free, but Peter Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Rein Ooijer kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Joop van Zwam took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Peter Wilhelm to make any attempt to save it. Rinus Sloedingen's late challenge caught a sv OBW's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rinus Sloedingen helped the player get up and apologised. If Joop van Zwam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Hof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Kooij in the 36th minute of the match. Wouter Haar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Peter Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Joop van Zwam managed to get in a good position for a shot. sv OBW's supporters rose to their feet, but Joop van Zwam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Wilhelm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Wilhelm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wouter Haar in the 46th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joop van Zwam in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Wilhelm prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wim Kooij was the one to do the kick off. Peter Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wouter Haar in the 55th minute of the match. Peter Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joop van Zwam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of sv OBW booed when Genum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonny Thole didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Genum's Hette Hagenouw got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Joop van Zwam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Hof made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evert Koekkoek in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, sv OBW's Domenik Wieringh got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Wouter Haar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Joop van Zwam managed to get in a good position for a shot. sv OBW's supporters rose to their feet, but Joop van Zwam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wouter Haar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When sv OBW's Joop van Zwam in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Genum's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute sv OBW were awarded a corner. Lucas Venema went to the cornerflag to take it. 89 minutes into the match, Evert Koekkoek notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of sv OBW's Rudolf Hof. Rudolf Hof was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, Barry van Boxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. sv OBW fully deserved thier win.
