After 2 played minutes FC Numitor got a freekick which was hit by Henk Maseland. Timmie Ijksma's late challenge caught a sv OBW's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timmie Ijksma helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes FC Numitor got a freekick which was hit by Timmie Ijksma. In the game's 6th minute sv OBW's Lucas Venema took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Co Zenden and thus the score was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Wouter Haar managed to get in a good position for a shot. sv OBW's supporters rose to their feet, but Wouter Haar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Co Zenden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimitrie Hoogland's late challenge caught a sv OBW's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 11th match minute, FC Numitor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitrie Hoogland to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Willem Valentijn hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. A long shot from Steven Rensenbrink in the 15th minute of play was well struck, but Rudolf Hof made a really good save at the right post. In the 18th match minute, sv OBW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenik Wieringh to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 19 minutes, Joep Wensing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Numitor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joep Wensing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wouter Haar scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Co Zenden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, FC Numitor's Koen Ensing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudolf Hof narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Joop van Zwam managed to get in a good position for a shot. sv OBW's supporters rose to their feet, but Joop van Zwam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Co Zenden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Co Zenden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joop van Zwam in the 44th minute of the match. FC Numitor's Co Zenden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wouter Haar in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Koen Ensing made a kick off. Joep Wensing took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudolf Hof. Rudolf Hof dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Joep Wensing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucas Venema kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes, FC Numitor's Steven Rensenbrink shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rudolf Hof came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Numitor reached it. Rudolf Hof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joep Wensing in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes sv OBW got a freekick which was hit by Harald Kuiper. The supporters of sv OBW booed when FC Numitor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Bogaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Numitor's Co Zenden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save FC Numitor from getting a goal against them. Co Zenden was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joop van Zwam showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 78 minute of play. FC Numitor's Co Zenden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Numitor from getting a goal against them. Co Zenden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joop van Zwam, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Joop van Zwam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. sv OBW had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
