Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Ralph Fellinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Auke Rodenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riemer Bessing took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Peter Schrage. Snippeling V.V.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute, Evert Bok ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Schrage was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Honselerdijk Eendracht's Vincent van Rhijn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Schrage narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Evert Bok in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Evert Bok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Peter Schrage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent van Rhijn in the 30th minute of play forced Snippeling V.V.'s goalkeeper Peter Schrage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Snippeling V.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Evert Bok came free, but Peter Schrage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Vincent van Rhijn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honselerdijk Eendracht's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent van Rhijn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Schrage breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vincent van Rhijn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Schrage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Bok, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Honselerdijk Eendracht were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralph Fellinger was the one to do the kick off. When Vincent van Rhijn came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Honselerdijk Eendracht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent van Rhijn couldn't finish the play. Sander Hellemons hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honselerdijk Eendracht's goalkeeper Auke Rodenberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Snippeling V.V. booed when Honselerdijk Eendracht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bram Melis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raymond Zoetebier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ralph Fellinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Bok recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Auke Rodenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Fellinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent van Rhijn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Peter Schrage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Schrage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Bok in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Ralph Fellinger notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Honselerdijk Eendracht's Auke Rodenberg. Auke Rodenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evert Bok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Peter Schrage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Snippeling V.V.'s Peter Schrage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Bok in the 80th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Raymond Zoetebier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Snippeling V.V. and the Honselerdijk Eendracht players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Snippeling V.V.'s Raymond Zoetebier got a free kick in the 90th minute. Auke Rodenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwan Jeuring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
