Excelsior's Folkert Zwaanswijk got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rob de Vos during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rob de Vos hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Daniel Daems showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 陆誉西 in the 39th minute of the match. 陆誉西 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Daems having to interfere.
