Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sjoerd Eylens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Stuijt having to interfere. Otto Peppinck kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Remco Baaijen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Foeke van Zalen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Oeienbraak booed when Nieuwacht VV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Peppinck didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Foeke van Zalen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nieuwacht VV's Ryan Stuijt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Nieuwacht VV from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Oeienbraak's zone, Antoon Genkenaar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remco Baaijen came out of the goal and Antoon Genkenaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remco Baaijen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Foeke van Zalen in the 34th minute of the match. Gert Borgman struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ryan Stuijt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oeienbraak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Borgman in the 39th minute of play forced Nieuwacht VV's goalkeeper Ryan Stuijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Borgman had several of the Nieuwacht VV's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ryan Stuijt as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 43 played minutes Oeienbraak got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Joost van Galen. After a rather tough play, Nieuwacht VV's Geert Roetering got a free kick in the 45th minute. Sjoerd Eylens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Stuijt having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gert Borgman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ryan Stuijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Borgman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nieuwacht VV's Ryan Stuijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Borgman in the 63rd minute of play. Sjoerd Eylens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ryan Stuijt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gert Borgman might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ryan Stuijt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gert Borgman ran back to his position shaking his head. When Otto Peppinck fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nieuwacht VV's protests and gave Otto Peppinck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Nieuwacht VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Peppinck to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Oeienbraak's Bart Evenhuis tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nieuwacht VV's Ryan Stuijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sjoerd Eylens in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Sjoerd Eylens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryan Stuijt. Nieuwacht VV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sjoerd Eylens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Otto Peppinck hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Gert Borgman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
