Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marcel Westra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 played minutes Raren SV got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Breinburg. After 5 played minutes, Monster Energy's Marcel de Zwart shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edward Hofman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monster Energy reached it. Edward Hofman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacco Knops, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Felix Visschers short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Sjef Heeringa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 33 played minutes Monster Energy got a freekick which was hit by Mart van Zaanen. Felix Visscher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martijn Bekker to make the kick off. Marcel Westra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Edward Hofman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Raren SV's goalkeeper Edward Hofman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacco Knops. Felix Visscher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Boudewijn Schuurmans fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monster Energy's protests and gave Boudewijn Schuurmans a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Monster Energy's zone, Felix Visscher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sjef Heeringa came out of the goal and Felix Visscher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Hofman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Westra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Hofman came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Monster Energy's Jacco Knops. But to his dismay, Jacco Knops quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Sjef Heeringa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Atsma in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Jorn Middeljans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sjef Heeringa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jacco Knops was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Monster Energy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marcel Westra might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Hofman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Westra ran back to his position shaking his head. After 91 minutes of play, Monster Energy's Jacco Knops made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Hofman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boudewijn Schuurmans kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Felix Visscher came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Raren SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Visscher couldn't finish the play. The Raren SV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Monster Energy's performance. The match ended with a win for Monster Energy.
