Dirk Panter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Heikens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Frank Wegman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorn Zevenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute Gerrit Heikens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Panter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Wegman in the 43rd minute of play forced Enspik's goalkeeper Jack Elders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Wegman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Elders having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorn Zevenberg made a kick off. Heinenoord's Dirk Panter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Heinenoord from getting a goal against them. Tim Moorman charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Moorman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Tim Moorman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heinenoord's Chiel Piening got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gerrit Heikens came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Enspik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerrit Heikens couldn't finish the play. Gerrit Heikens charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerrit Heikens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Enspik's Gerrit Heikens got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Chiel Piening was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heinenoord's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Enspik the free kick. A collision led to Heinenoord getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Chiel Piening hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorn Zevenberg in the 68th minute of play forced Heinenoord's goalkeeper Dirk Panter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanni Pruischer's late challenge caught a Enspik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Pruischer helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Heinenoord got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Pruischer. Jorn Zevenberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Frank Wegman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chiel Piening took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jack Elders. Jack Elders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Enspik booed when Heinenoord was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Wegman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Wegman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jack Elders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Moorman got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Enspik getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tim Moorman hit a great ball. Yuri Kooij was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jack Elders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiel Piening, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Enspik's Jack Elders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Wegman in the 96th minute of play. Heinenoord walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
