Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ton de Vogt started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Kolderwolde's Bill Deinse got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 7 minutes into the game, Ton de Vogt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kees Latten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 minutes of play, Kolderwolde's Stefano Veltrop made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierre van Wonderen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Quick Boys's Ton de Vogt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kees Latten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute Stefano Veltrop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre van Wonderen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gijsbert Degenkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefano Veltrop in the 27th minute of play forced Quick Boys's goalkeeper Pierre van Wonderen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Quick Boys's Marinus Bergman got a free kick in the 28th minute. Pierre van Wonderen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefano Veltrop in the 31st minute of play. If Jurjen Grol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ton de Vogt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kees Latten having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Quick Boys's goalkeeper Pierre van Wonderen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Kauffeld. 44 minutes into the game, Frans Famelen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quick Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kolderwolde the free kick. In the 44th minute, Frans Famelen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Quick Boys's Frans Famelen got a free kick in the 46th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefano Veltrop in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre van Wonderen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Quick Boys's Pierre van Wonderen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Jan Walregt in the 54th minute of play. Pierre van Wonderen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Jan Walregt, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Stefano Veltrop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolderwolde's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefano Veltrop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre van Wonderen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, Quick Boys's Jurjen Grol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kees Latten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Quick Boys's Jurjen Grol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Jurjen Grol got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Stefano Veltrop struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Pierre van Wonderen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kolderwolde. When Quick Boys's Jurjen Grol in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kolderwolde's goalie prevented a goal. Kees Latten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurjen Grol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert Degenkamp hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the game, Stefano Veltrop cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pierre van Wonderen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ton de Vogt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kees Latten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kees Latten came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Quick Boys's Gijsbert Degenkamp. But to his dismay, Gijsbert Degenkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Quick Boys were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Kolderwolde's much stronger midfield.
