Robben pucks's Robbie van Olst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Robben pucks from getting a goal against them. Edward Willemse took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robbie van Olst. Robben pucks's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Olof van den Brink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Robben pucks's Bert Zuid nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geale Geurtsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 42nd minute, Bruno Davids hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tweesluizen getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Olof van den Brink hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bert Zuid to make the kick off. Tweesluizen's Geale Geurtsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bert Zuid in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Tweesluizen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfred Klinkhamer to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Rinus Rolink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edward Willemse made a great header on Tweesluizen's corner, it was just that Robben pucks's Robbie van Olst managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Bert Zuid managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Tweesluizen's zone, Bert Zuid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geale Geurtsen came out of the goal and Bert Zuid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
