Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Max Crans started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Crans in the 3rd minute of play forced Delfzyl HC's goalkeeper Benjamin Legdeur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Draaibrug's goal looked a bit too open when Hendrik van Loo came free, but Theo de Zwart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobus Sans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Benjamin Legdeur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Delfzyl HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sjoerd van Mol to maneuver through the defense. Jacobus Sans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jos Abbenbroek kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Benjamin Legdeur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Crans in the 26th minute of the match. Delfzyl HC's Hendrik van Loo got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Delfzyl HC's goal looked a bit too open when Max Crans came free, but Benjamin Legdeur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Hendrik van Loo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Delfzyl HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hendrik van Loo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo de Zwart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Hendrik van Loo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ron Luijten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Delfzyl HC defense, Jacobus Sans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Legdeur. The Delfzyl HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Legdeur should have stopped the shot. If Hendrik van Loo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Theo de Zwart made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Hendrik van Loo sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the game, Sjoerd van Mol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Delfzyl HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Draaibrug the free kick. After a rather tough play, Delfzyl HC's Sjoerd van Mol got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jacobus Sans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hendrik van Loo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo de Zwart having to interfere. Ron Luijten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ron Luijten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacobus Sans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Benjamin Legdeur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Draaibrug's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ron Luijten fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 89 minutes of play Delfzyl HC's Sjoerd van Mol was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 90 played minutes Delfzyl HC got a freekick which was hit by Sjoerd van Mol. Benjamin Legdeur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobus Sans in the 91st minute of play. Max Crans took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Legdeur. Benjamin Legdeur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Draaibrug had won after a very even match.
