Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wieldrecht's Ronald Rijkaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wieldrecht's Arjen van der Schans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bram Averdijk in the 5th minute of play. Ronald Rijkaard was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Bulkemsbroek HC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jochem Windmuller hit a great ball. Sjoerd Platvoet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Sligter having to interfere. Ronny Oosterman kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Bram Averdijk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arjen van der Schans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Wieldrecht's zone, Billy Ieberink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arjen van der Schans came out of the goal and Billy Ieberink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Billy Ieberink sped through Wieldrecht's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arjen van der Schans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Rijkaard in the 31st minute of play forced Bulkemsbroek HC's goalkeeper Arne Sligter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronald Rijkaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Wieldrecht getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Elco Kras hit a great ball. Maarten Pragt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Erben Veentjer hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ronald Rijkaard might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne Sligter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronald Rijkaard ran back to his position shaking his head. Jochem Windmuller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Arjen van der Schans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bram Averdijk was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diderik Schuttrup during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Wieldrecht got a freekick which was hit by Diderik Schuttrup. A collision led to Wieldrecht getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Erben Veentjer hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bram Averdijk in the 59th minute of play forced Wieldrecht's goalkeeper Arjen van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bram Averdijk struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Arjen van der Schans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bulkemsbroek HC. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Sjoerd Platvoet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wieldrecht's supporters rose to their feet, but Sjoerd Platvoet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Sligter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arjen van der Schans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Averdijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arjen van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Averdijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Billy Ieberink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arjen van der Schans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Averdijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes Wieldrecht got a freekick which was hit by Mark Pik. 94 minutes into the match, Bulkemsbroek HC's Maarten Pragt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 100 minutes, Arjen van der Schans successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bulkemsbroek HC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
