Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joep Haar got the match started through his kick off. Billy Ieberink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiën van Dijk having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Vaartkant's goal looked a bit too open when Bram Averdijk came free, but Fabiën van Dijk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billy Ieberink's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Fabiën van Dijk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 14th minute Vaartkant were awarded a corner. Jan Rein Hilbrands went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jan Rein Hilbrands almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bulkemsbroek HC's Arne Sligter did a great save. Arne Sligter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Vrieze in the 16th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Bulkemsbroek HC got a freekick which was hit by Jochem Windmuller. In the 17th minute, Joep Haar made a precise shot to the right of Arne Sligter. Bulkemsbroek HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Co van der Struijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joep Haar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Arne Sligter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Co van der Struijk came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Vaartkant fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Co van der Struijk couldn't finish the play. After 31 played minutes Vaartkant got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Maurits. In the 33rd minute Co van der Struijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Sligter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Bram Averdijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiën van Dijk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Co van der Struijk came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Vaartkant fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Co van der Struijk couldn't finish the play. Arne Sligter came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Vaartkant's Joep Haar. But to his dismay, Joep Haar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Joep Haar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaartkant's supporters rose to their feet, but Joep Haar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Sligter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 minutes, Maarten Pragt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bulkemsbroek HC and the Vaartkant players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Bulkemsbroek HC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vaartkant:s goal. The Bulkemsbroek HC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vaartkant were winning 0-2.

Arne Sligter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joep Haar's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Ronny Oosterman charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny Oosterman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronny Oosterman kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Arne Sligter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joep Haar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Joep Haar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaartkant's supporters rose to their feet, but Joep Haar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Sligter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arne Sligter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joep Haar in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joep Haar in the 79th minute of play forced Bulkemsbroek HC's goalkeeper Arne Sligter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bulkemsbroek HC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ronny Oosterman hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Vaartkant defense, Billy Ieberink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabiën van Dijk. The Vaartkant fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabiën van Dijk should have stopped the shot. Vaartkant's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
