Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hub Sándor started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Katerveer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Decheiver to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Hub Sándor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ab Vaalman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ab Vaalman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudi Need, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Ralf Abbekerk might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivo Klok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralf Abbekerk ran back to his position shaking his head. Hans Lever hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hub Sándor in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ab Vaalman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yorrick Zandee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ralf Abbekerk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hub Sándor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ab Vaalman having to interfere. If Ralf Abbekerk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Katerveer's goal looked a bit too open when Hub Sándor came free, but Ab Vaalman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Bogarde took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo Klok. Ivo Klok dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ralf Abbekerk to make the kick off. Katerveer were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Molecaten's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hans Lever took the corner. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Herman Willemse got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 63 minutes into the match, Katerveer's Ralf Abbekerk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivo Klok narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yorrick Zandee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ivo Klok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacob van Veldhuizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ab Vaalman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Molecaten's goalkeeper Ivo Klok, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivo Klok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Abbekerk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Katerveer's zone, Rudi Need stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ab Vaalman came out of the goal and Rudi Need tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pascall Ploeger fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Katerveer's protests and gave Pascall Ploeger a yellow card for diving instead. Katerveer's Ab Vaalman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Katerveer from getting a goal against them. After 94 played minutes Katerveer got a freekick which was hit by Filip Bogarde. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Ab Vaalman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
