Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Uitwijk's Joop Eschendaal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferdi Hulsebos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Elco Fuchs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uitwijk's Niels Wagemakers got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joop Eschendaal struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Willem Planting didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uitwijk. 16 minutes into the game, Rinus Bakhuis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buitenkaag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uitwijk the free kick. A collision led to Buitenkaag getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rinus Bakhuis hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Dick Hofsteenge sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Buitenkaag's Willem Planting didn't even have to move. Willem Planting made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Niels Wagemakers sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Buitenkaag's Jaap Zandberg got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Elco Fuchs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jelte Peters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdi Hulsebos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Job van Zeijl hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Niels Wagemakers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joop Eschendaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sjors Schophuis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Niels Wagemakers notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Buitenkaag's Willem Planting. Willem Planting was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Joop Eschendaal took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Willem Planting to make any attempt to save it.

Willem Planting stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joop Eschendaal's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Jelte Peters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Joop Eschendaal put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Willem Planting. Joop Eschendaal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Joop Eschendaal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willem Planting. Buitenkaag's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joop Eschendaal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Willem Planting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joop Eschendaal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Niels Wagemakers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Buitenkaag's zone, Joop Eschendaal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willem Planting came out of the goal and Joop Eschendaal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Joop Eschendaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem Planting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97thth minute of the game Joop Eschendaal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buitenkaag's Willem Planting was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Uitwijk players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
