Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Pieterburen FC's zone, Marick Aukes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Severijnse came out of the goal and Marick Aukes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marick Aukes in the 6th minute of play forced Pieterburen FC's goalkeeper Marco Severijnse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marick Aukes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Severijnse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marick Aukes in the 18th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Kees Stuijt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Respelhoek's Marinus Wagemakers got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kees Stuijt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Casper Bijlsma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute of the match Jan-Willem Rijkaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Severijnse skillfully saved the ball. In the 41st minute, Kees Stuijt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marick Aukes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Severijnse having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Kees Stuijt made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alwin Fokkelman in the 53rd minute of play forced Pieterburen FC's goalkeeper Marco Severijnse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kees Stuijt charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kees Stuijt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pieterburen FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Kees Stuijt hit a great ball. Marinus Wagemakers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marinus Wagemakers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Marco Severijnse made a huge save. Marco Severijnse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marick Aukes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Marick Aukes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Severijnse, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Marinus Wagemakers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Respelhoek's supporters rose to their feet, but Marinus Wagemakers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Severijnse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pieterburen FC's Marco Severijnse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marick Aukes in the 75th minute of play. Marinus Wagemakerss short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Marco Severijnse to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Respelhoek's Casper Bijlsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douwe Hovenkamp in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Respelhoek booed when Pieterburen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogier Diest didn't get a good kick on the ball. Respelhoek's Gert de Jong couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pieterburen FC. If Marick Aukes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Severijnse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marick Aukes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Respelhoek's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
