Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rudi Kik kicked off to start the match. Hubert Bette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ommoord's Derk Dissels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeroen Schalkwijk in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tonny Platvoet in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Derk Dissels saved Ommoord from getting behind. Derk Dissels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeroen Schalkwijk in the 10th minute of play. Derk Dissels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Ostermann in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Ostermann in the 12th minute of play forced Ommoord's goalkeeper Derk Dissels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Ommoord got a freekick which was hit by Godfried Duin. A collision led to Heemserveen getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tonny Platvoet hit a great ball. The long shot by Rolf Warneke in the 29th minute really tested Huub Baatenburg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rudi Kik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Huub Baatenburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match Rolf Warneke sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Huub Baatenburg skillfully saved the ball. If Jacobus Fokkelman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Ruben Ostermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeroen Schalkwijk to make the kick off. Jacobus Fokkelman struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Huub Baatenburg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ommoord. Rudi Kik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huub Baatenburg having to interfere. Ruben Ostermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Ommoord:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Heemserveen:s goal. The goalkeeper, Derk Dissels, was totally fooled by Heemserveen's Frans Evans, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience was convinced that Jeroen Schalkwijk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Derk Dissels was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Jeroen Schalkwijk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Jeroen Schalkwijk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Ostermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derk Dissels having to interfere. Derk Dissels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeroen Schalkwijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
