Riemer Schoonbeek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruud Spierenburg having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tonny Blommaart kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cees Reitsma. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Peter Verweijen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ruud Spierenburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Verweijen to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tonnyke VV booed when Bouwberg S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Buckinx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Riemer Schoonbeek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Verweijen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ruud Spierenburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruud Spierenburg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Verweijen's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Cees Reitsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonny Blommaart in the 80th minute of the match. Cees Reitsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonny Blommaart, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Tonny Blommaart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tonny Blommaart blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cees Reitsma having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Bouwberg S.C.'s Derk Landzaat got a free kick in the 95th minute. Bouwberg S.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
