Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pieter de Visscher took the kick off in the first half of the match. Frans Middel kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Brienenoord's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Mario Kolman scored to the left of an out of position Arie Wessels, making the score, 1-0. Ralf Zoolingen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Kolman in the 16th minute of play forced Brienenoord's goalkeeper Arie Wessels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Pieter de Visscher made a precise shot to the right of Paul Veninga. Vuilwammes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ralf Zoolingen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Brienenoord's Ger Zomer got a free kick in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Vuilwammes's goal looked a bit too open when Pieter de Visscher came free, but Paul Veninga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brienenoord's Arie Wessels proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Brienenoord from getting a goal against them. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Kolman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Brienenoord was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Ottens to maneuver through the defense. When Yorrick Anker came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Vuilwammes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yorrick Anker couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Vuilwammes's zone, Pieter de Visscher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Veninga came out of the goal and Pieter de Visscher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th match minute, Vuilwammes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Reints to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Vuilwammes's Mario Kolman fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralf Zoolingen got free with Paul Veninga in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arie Wessels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ralf Zoolingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vuilwammes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pieter de Visscher 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Brienenoord's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
