Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Roland Hoekstra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Vlerken FC's Stefano Bosz got control of the ball when Huub Okkes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Huub Okkes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Stefano Bosz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pierre Brinker kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Stefano Bosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Hoekstra in the 12th minute of play. Roland Hoekstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egbert Crans's late challenge caught a Vlerken FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egbert Crans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Frederik Vroom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frederik Vroom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertus Rodenberg having to interfere. Huub Okkes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes, Lutte's Marcel Kip shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefano Bosz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lutte reached it. After a rather tough play, Vlerken FC's Mark Rekers got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 36th minute Folker Dussel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertus Rodenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Hoekstra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Stefano Bosz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Roland Hoekstra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lutte's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Hoekstra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefano Bosz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Vlerken FC's Gerard Bruinsma got a free kick in the 47th minute. Nick Salens, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Folker Dussel to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Lutte's goalkeeper Bertus Rodenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederik Vroom. Roland Hoekstra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Stefano Bosz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertus Rodenberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Frederik Vroom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Pool kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Huub Okkes in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefano Bosz saved Vlerken FC from getting behind. Roel Hoeksma kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Nick Salens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefano Bosz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Hoekstra in the 84th minute of play forced Vlerken FC's goalkeeper Stefano Bosz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Vlerken FC's Frederik Vroom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bertus Rodenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lutte's Egbert Crans got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Egbert Crans off the ground. In the 89th minute, Folker Dussel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bertus Rodenberg. The goal made the score 0-2. Bertus Rodenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folker Dussel in the 95th minute of the match. If Frederik Vroom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot by Gregor Kielstra from long distance, 100 minutes into the match, got Bertus Rodenberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Vlerken FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
