Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jeroen Arnolds started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ernst Zuidam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathijs Themmen having to interfere. Mirko Lucius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olaf Zegers in the 7th minute. Jeroen Arnolds recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 played minutes Jeroen Arnolds rounded Geeries FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Geeries FC's Mathias de Hoop pulled a muscle in his back after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Vincent Ottens fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Draaibrug's protests and gave Vincent Ottens a yellow card for diving instead. Geeries FC made a substitution. Dennis Rodenberg replaced Mathias de Hoop. Vincent Ottens hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ernst Zuidam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathijs Themmen having to make a save. In the 23rd match minute, Geeries FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roeland Collen to maneuver through the defense. Mirko Lucius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriaan Kiewit in the 25th minute of play. Mirko Lucius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olaf Zegers in the 26th minute. Geeries FC's Mirko Lucius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Geeries FC from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Ernst Zuidam notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Draaibrug's Mathijs Themmen. Mathijs Themmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th match minute, Geeries FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roeland Collen to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd match minute, Draaibrug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Melker to maneuver through the defense. Mathijs Themmen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernst Zuidam went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 48 played minutes Geeries FC got a freekick which was hit by Willem Waesbergen. Mirko Lucius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeroen Arnolds, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Ernst Zuidam made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Jeroen Arnolds notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Geeries FC's Mirko Lucius. Mirko Lucius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute, Jeroen Arnolds left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Draaibrug fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Draaibrug's zone, Denny Stigt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathijs Themmen came out of the goal and Denny Stigt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 played minutes Geeries FC got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Rodenberg. Mirko Lucius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeroen Arnolds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Geeries FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Zegers came free, but Mirko Lucius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mirko Lucius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Zegers in the 74th minute of play. Mathijs Themmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Zuidam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mirko Lucius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeroen Arnolds in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Olaf Zegers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirko Lucius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Jeroen Arnolds left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Draaibrug fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeroen Arnolds in the 100th minute of play forced Geeries FC's goalkeeper Mirko Lucius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geeries FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
