Spectators: 8 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Andreas Borker made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, FC Arnhem's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Borker came free, but Stef Lans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Bekker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Karremans in the 6th minute of play. When FC Arnhem's Dolf Theisens in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 11th match minute, IJssel Boys FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Kuijpers to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in IJssel Boys FC's zone, Dolf Theisens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Bekker came out of the goal and Dolf Theisens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Karremans in the 15th minute of play forced IJssel Boys FC's goalkeeper Carlo Bekker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freek Schrage's late challenge caught a FC Arnhem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freek Schrage helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes IJssel Boys FC got a freekick which was hit by Freek Schrage. Carlo Bekker was a little too slow when Gilbert Karremans got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Demy Kremer kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Arnhem's zone, Kevin Wotte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stef Lans came out of the goal and Kevin Wotte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stef Lans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Wotte in the 26th minute of play. Dolf Theisens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlo Bekker came out and tried to block the shot, but Dolf Theisens slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. After 36 minutes, Vincent Andriessen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IJssel Boys FC and the FC Arnhem players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Arnhem booed when IJssel Boys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Andriessen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jan-Willem van Duuren could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Carlo Bekker however easily saved by the left post. Albert Polak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Carlo Bekker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Hofs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Bekker having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Kenneth Dalman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IJssel Boys FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Arnhem the free kick. Jan-Willem van Duuren struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Carlo Bekker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Arnhem. Demy Kremer managed to trick IJssel Boys FC's defense and made a shot which however Carlo Bekker didn't slip through. A nice save in the 47thth minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Dolf Theisens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlo Bekker was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Stef Lans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Borker, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute Gilbert Karremans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Bekker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, one of IJssel Boys FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave FC Arnhem a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by John Oude Kamphuis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of IJssel Boys FC's Carlo Bekker. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dolf Theisens in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlo Bekker saved IJssel Boys FC from getting behind. Jan-Willem van Duuren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlo Bekker having to make a save. After having played for 89 minutes, Kevin Wotte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IJssel Boys FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Wotte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of IJssel Boys FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Arnhem:s goal.
