Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jurgen Aalst started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Hunzebergen SC booed when Echterbosch RKSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Valentijn didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurgen Aalst in the 5th minute of play forced Echterbosch RKSV's goalkeeper Stefan Buring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Buring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurgen Aalst in the 6th minute of play. Marco van Zonderen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jurgen Aalst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Echterbosch RKSV getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Casper van den Berg hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match Lucas Temen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefan Buring skillfully saved the ball. When Echterbosch RKSV's Cees Pragt in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hunzebergen SC's goalie prevented a goal. Karel Vos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Dussel, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Cees Pragt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echterbosch RKSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cees Pragt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Hunzebergen SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Traa to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Teun Korevaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Egbert Legdeur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hunzebergen SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Echterbosch RKSV the free kick. In the 35th minute, Egbert Legdeur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Pascal Dussel made a precise shot to the right of Karel Vos. Hunzebergen SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Stefan Buring made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Marco van Zonderen sent off a good shot on target. Pascal Dussel struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Karel Vos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Echterbosch RKSV. After 46 minutes, Casper van den Berg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Echterbosch RKSV and the Hunzebergen SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 49th minute, Hunzebergen SC's Jurgen Aalst ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stefan Buring. Stefan Buring yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cees Pragt made a kick off. Jurgen Aalst might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Buring. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jurgen Aalst ran back to his position shaking his head. Stefan Buring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurgen Aalst, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Jurgen Aalst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Cees Pragt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Buring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurgen Aalst, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jurgen Aalst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cees Pragt in the 79th minute of play forced Hunzebergen SC's goalkeeper Karel Vos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Echterbosch RKSV's Stefan Buring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurgen Aalst in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Pascal Dussel could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Karel Vos however easily saved by the left post. Cees Pragt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco van Zonderen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Stefan Buring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hunzebergen SC's Frank Roswinkel suffered a sore thigh after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Richard Baaijen charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Baaijen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Richard Baaijen hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Fred de Jong fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Echterbosch RKSV's protests and gave Fred de Jong a yellow card for diving instead. Marco van Zonderen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Stefan Buring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Buring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egbert Legdeur in the 97th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hunzebergen SC's zone, Pascal Dussel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karel Vos came out of the goal and Pascal Dussel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
