Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cees Pragt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th minute Rafael Panter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Buring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hofke's Gilbert Hoffhuis got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Cees Pragt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johan Snijders. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Echterbosch RKSV! If Rafael Panter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Baaijen during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Richard Baaijen kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Stefan Buring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Hoffhuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascal Dussel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johan Snijders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Casper van den Berg's late challenge caught a Hofke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casper van den Berg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hofke booed when Echterbosch RKSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper van den Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Echterbosch RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Hoffhuis came free, but Stefan Buring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Hoffhuis struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Stefan Buring didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hofke. After a rather tough play, Echterbosch RKSV's Casper van den Berg got a free kick in the 35th minute. Stefan Buring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Hoffhuis in the 36th minute of play. When Hofke's Gilbert Hoffhuis in 39 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Stefan Buring guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Vincent Verweijen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Buring having to interfere. Tom Valentijn hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Gilbert Hoffhuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilbert Hoffhuis was the one to do the kick off. Rafael Panter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Stefan Buring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Buring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Hoffhuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Rafael Panter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper van den Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Hoffhuis in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Buring saved Echterbosch RKSV from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Hoffhuis in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Hoffhuis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Casper van den Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Gilbert Hoffhuis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans-Cees Dekens charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans-Cees Dekens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Echterbosch RKSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Cees Dekens to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Echterbosch RKSV's zone, Gilbert Hoffhuis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Buring came out of the goal and Gilbert Hoffhuis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Gilbert Hoffhuis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hofke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Hoffhuis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Panter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Stefan Buring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Echterbosch RKSV's Stefan Buring got control of the ball when Vincent Verweijen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Echterbosch RKSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hofke were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
