The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lennart Raatjes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gapinge HC's goalkeeper Oscar Dongen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Gapinge HC got a freekick which was hit by Denny Mathijsen. In the 79th minute, Ted de Jong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Dongen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Marcel Rutgers fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gapinge HC's protests and gave Marcel Rutgers a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ergeNekon booed when Gapinge HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Rutgers didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Gapinge HC's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Raatjes came free, but Oscar Dongen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ergeNekon booed when Gapinge HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denny Mathijsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gapinge HC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
