The supporters of Gapinge HC booed when Zonnedael FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffrey Peppinck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Ostermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donny Zwinkels having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus Schirring in the 20th minute of play forced Zonnedael FC's goalkeeper Donny Zwinkels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacques Spiering could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Donny Zwinkels made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Zonnedael FC's goal looked a bit too open when Klaus Schirring came free, but Donny Zwinkels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Gapinge HC were victorious despite being under pressure from Zonnedael FC for much of the match.
