The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berry Steyns during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kraayenstein RKSV's Floris Klaasens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Kraayenstein RKSV from getting a goal against them. In the 8th match minute, Kraayenstein RKSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Hindriks to maneuver through the defense. Vinkenkade's Bob Beuk got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Kraayenstein RKSV getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Carel Kikkert hit a great ball. After 18th play minutes Vincent Spiljard shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Jan-Willem Ruiter and just under the crossbar into goal. Kraayenstein RKSV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Lex Heerspink scored to the left of an out of position Floris Klaasens, making the score, 1-2. 26 minutes into the match, Kraayenstein RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Beuk came free, but Floris Klaasens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carel Kikkert kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bob Beuk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Floris Klaasens. That made the score 2-2 in the 31 minute of play. After some careless play in the Vinkenkade defense, Vincent Spiljard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Willem Ruiter. The Vinkenkade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Willem Ruiter should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Floris Klaasens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Floris Klaasens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geale Wesseling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Vinkenkade fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Vinkenkade's Vladimir Hermes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 60th minute, Carel Kikkert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Vladimir Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinkenkade's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Floris Klaasens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 62 minutes of play, Vinkenkade's Bob Beuk made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Floris Klaasens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vincent Spiljard struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jan-Willem Ruiter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kraayenstein RKSV. Vladimir Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Floris Klaasens having to interfere. Bob Beuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Floris Klaasens having to interfere. Vincent Spiljard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jan-Willem Ruiter made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Vinkenkade's goalkeeper Jan-Willem Ruiter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carel Kikkert. Kraayenstein RKSV's Floris Klaasens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Hermes in the 83rd minute of play. Lex Heerspink hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Berry Steyns got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Berry Steyns kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. A collision led to Kraayenstein RKSV getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vincent Heikens hit a great ball.
